How my journey began
A Wanderlust Journey
I launched my hospitality career in 1993 as a VIP Concierge at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, where I had the privilege of making sure that what happened in Vegas stayed in Vegas—at least for our VIP clients. My dedication to exceptional customer service took flight in 1998 when I joined Southwest Airlines as an Operations Agent, where I learned the art of keeping things running smoothly at 35,000 feet.
After several years with Southwest, I took a compassionate detour into healthcare, spending a decade focusing on Hospice Care. However, in 2014, I rediscovered my true calling: curating extraordinary experiences and luxurious travel. This realization led me back to the hospitality industry, where I became a Hotel Concierge at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, AZ.
My mission has always been to master my craft, and this drive led me to set my sights on joining Les Clefs d’Or, the most prestigious international society of concierges known for excellence in luxury hospitality. The journey to earn those golden keys is no small feat, but in April 2019, I proudly became a member, a distinction recognized by Forbes Travel for its high standards in luxury and service.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of working with some truly iconic names—from organizing events for the Jackson Five and Mike Tyson to coordinating travel for the Prince of Brunei and John Legend. My experience spans from the glamour of the Sundance Film Festival to the historic charm of reimagining the Homestead Resort in Midway, Utah. I’ve even had the opportunity to help open the Pendry Hotel in Park City, all while collaborating with Dr. Bryan Williams, a leading expert in hospitality leadership.
In my pursuit of excellence, I took on the role of President of the Valley of the Sun Concierge Network, where I led innovative initiatives to elevate the profession and underscore the essential value of concierge services in luxury hospitality. My efforts have been recognized with numerous accolades, including Up and Coming Concierge of the Year in 2015 and 2016, followed by Concierge of the Year in 2017, awarded by WMYE Magazine.
When the pandemic hit, I didn’t just binge-watch Netflix—I earned my travel agent certification to elevate my ability to craft unforgettable experiences for my clients. In 2022, I took my passion one step further by launching my own travel agency dedicated to helping people create memories that last a lifetime.
Now, as the Director of Concierge and Guest Experience at the iconic Arizona Biltmore, I’m as committed as ever to exceeding guest expectations and crafting moments that linger in memory. When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the greater Phoenix area, enjoying time with my handsome 19-year-old son and the love of my life—who may just become my future husband if I let him (fingers crossed!). I’m also a lover of travel, especially to places where the beaches are sandy and the ocean is warm.
